Police and paramedics were called to Jackson Road in Alum Rock on Sunday 27 May.
A man has been found dead at a home and four police cars and two ambulances parked up in the middle of the road between rows of parked cars.
Many residents were spotted standing at the entrances of their homes.
West Midlands Police confirmed they had discovered the body of a man and that his death is not being treated as suspicious.
“The body of a man was discovered at an address in Jackson Road, Alum Rock, at around 12.45pm yesterday (Sunday 27 May).
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner.”
