The Birmingham Youth Sports Academy celebrated its 21st anniversary, marking two decades of providing support and making a positive impact on the youth of Birmingham through football, mentoring, tutoring, employment/apprenticeship opportunities, and vocational trips. The milestone was commemorated on Friday, June 9th, 2023, where over 500 individuals gathered at Aston Villa FC’s Holte Suite in Birmingham to honour BYSA’s incredible achievements.

The event was filled with an abundance of respect, love, and support for Anwar, recognising his commendable passion and drive. Professor Paul Cadman, the Chairman, unveiled the academy’s future vision and development plans. He extended his congratulations to all the volunteers, sponsors, ambassadors, and supporters who have been part of this remarkable journey, acknowledging their presence on this momentous occasion.

The success of the event was made possible by the contribution of headline, platinum, diamond, and table partners. Attendees were treated to exceptional entertainment, delicious food, a live sporting memorabilia auction, BYSA Awards, and exciting raffle items, all in celebration of the academy’s 21-year journey.
