India will take on Sri Lanka in Leeds, Headingley in Match No. 44.

Australia will facade South Africa at Cricket Ground, Old Trafford in Manchester in Match No. 45.

With one eye on the semis, as acknowledged by Dinesh Karthik, India head into the Leeds meeting against Sri Lanka on Saturday. But more than just a win, the cricketers have their last chance at coagulating or rather locking in on their middle-order line-up ahead of big games. Rishabh Pant, Indian batsman, has surely proven his worth with his handy 32 and 46 in the last two games. India are unlikely to eliminate the left-hander, but might look to embrace another in the form of Ravindra Jadeja, possibly at No.7.

India would almost certainly want to evade England in the semis, given that their only jolt in World Cup 2019 came against the hosts. Against New Zealand, their league match was eroded out by rain.
