It’s March and that means just one thing. Spring is here and it will soon be Mothering Sunday!
It’s an early one this year, Sunday 15th March and there is no better excuse to enjoy a lovely dining experience than Mother’s Day. So here’s our Food Blogger Anita Champaneri’s pick of the best ….
Exquisite Thai restaurant Sabai Sabai in Harborne and Moseley have conjured up something special menu for the family. If you are looking for something classy, you will love this venue. The three course menu is £22.95 and you get delightful dishes such as the classic Green Curry, lamb shank in Massaman sauce and Thai roast duck! All mums get a complimentary Oriental Bellini too.
Fabulous boutique hotel, Hotel du Vin, is offering four courses in their cosy bistro for only £34.95. They are also offering a glass of bubbly and a little gift, to really make your Mum feels special. If your whole family want to come along, you can even request a more intimate, private dining room (min. 6 people). So book soon, for a special Mother’s Day treat.
If your mum is more of a glamour puss, she’ll definitely enjoy the uber cool Fumo, in the city centre. They offer a chic Italian dining experience in sophisticated yet relaxed surroundings. With their varied menu from lobster, pizza or pasta, Prosecco, Champagne or an expertly mixed cocktail, it’s an ideal destination for celebratory dining.
If you fancy venturing out of the city then The Boot Inn is a tremendously fab, posh country pub and restaurant in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside.
Based in Lapworth, it combines unusual, high class, good pub food with the finest wines and beers, all against the background of a perfect country pub atmosphere. With a great British Food menu and wine list it is one of the best gastropub restaurants in Warwickshire.
