Trio appear in court

THREE men have been charged with the murder of a teenager who was stabbed through the heart in London.

Student Nabeer Bakurally, 19, died following the attack in Ilford town centre on Saturday.

Abdul Siddique, 24, Kalam Mohammed Kazi, 23, and Pradip Mistry, 21, will appear in custody at Redbridge Magistrates Court later today.

Siddique has also been charged with the attempted murder of a 17-year-old male.

Police were called to High Road at the junction with Clements Road, Ilford in the early hours of Saturday morning following reports of a stabbing.

Mr Bakurally was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem gave his cause of death as stab wounds to the heart.

A second victim, aged 17, was taken to an east London hospital with stab wounds but was later discharged.

Mr Bakurally is the 28th teenager to meet a violent death in the Greater London area this year.
