Detectives in Birmingham have appealed for help in tracing a Birmingham woman who has not been seen for over a week.

Gul Mina was last seen on Wednesday 4 October when she left her home in Whitehall Road, Handsworth to attend prayers at a local temple.

She has not been seen or heard from since. Police enquiries and local searches to trace her have so far proved unsuccessful.

Gula is described as Asian, 5ft 3ins tall, with long, straight black hair, and was wearing gold studs in each ear and gold bracelets on her wrists. When last seen she was wearing a light blue sari.

Police are appealing to Gula, or anyone who knows of her whereabouts, to contact her family or officers at Thornhill Road police station on 0845 113 5000.
