A Wolverhampton restaurant named as one of the best in the UK.

Bilash was highlighted in the Harden’s Best Restaurants Guide 2020.

The Michelin rated restaurant located at 2 Cheapside,  offers a combination of traditional and contemporary Bangladeshi cuisine.

Bilash, which employs 16 people at its Cheapside restaurant, seats 50 diners downstairs and a further 30 upstairs, which can be used for private dining or corporate functions.

Mohammed Khan, who runs the business with his father Sitab has said “The guides really help to attract new customers and, importantly, they let people know that Wolverhampton does have a restaurant as good as anything the West Midlands has to offer.”

According to the Harden’s, Michelin starred eateries Adam’s in Waterloo Street, Purnell’s are ‘the best of the best’ – among the top 100 places to eat in the UK.

In terms of the overall number of top-scoring restaurants in the new guide, Birmingham ranked 4th best city, tying with Glasgow, but beaten by Edinburgh and Brighton.
