Each year The Asian Today recognises and awards individuals and organisations that have made a significant impact in our communities. The awards celebrate and appreciate the achievements and commitment to the wider community of the recipient.
The categories include commitment to community initiative, media, sports, business, public services and to an Inspirational man and woman. The special recognition of the Year award went to Moin Younis a young individual who was diagnosed with Epidermolysis Bullosa a skin disorder when he was 2 months old and was told that he would not live beyond his first birthday.
