Sabai Sabai fans are enjoying the Thai-rific news that the independent restaurant group has opened a fourth venue in Birmingham.
This time the family owned business isn’t heading for another suburb of Birmingham but has found a great building a stone’s throw from St Philips Cathedral. The two story venue is seconds from Fumo on Waterloo Street and seats 60 people on the ground floor and basement.
As you would expect, the decor is Thai inspired with ornate wooden furniture, soft furnishes and a blossom tree in the foyer. There’s a great bar area to enjoy those cocktails and premium wine list too.
There’s a great value lunch menu available 12-2.30pm Monday to Friday from £12.95. The sizeable Thai Mezze Platters have 5 different options including vegetarian ones that are all delicious. The A La Carte menu runs all day along side this offering too, so diners will really be spoilt for choice.
Husband and wife team Torquil and Juree have been working around the clock to make it beautiful and welcoming; and with Juree expecting her third child in the Spring, it’s been no walk in the (pigeon) park!
