Two television stars who starred in the Channel 4 documentary Extremely British Muslims accosted Tommy Robinson, the outspoken and well known co-founder of the English Defence League, or EDL.

Robinson, who was filming for a TV show on Stratford Road, was approached by the stars Waseem Iqbal, Naveed Ahmed and other friend. They asked Robinson to speak to them, whilst videoing him, and said: “We’ve just got back to Birmingham from Iraq, we’re humanitarians working in Mosul where we’ve been under attack by ISIS ourselves.”

Tommy can be heard asking what they’re doing and at one point attempts to interview them back, asking ‘what were you doing in Iraq?’

Once Robinson realises the men are from the Channel 4 show, they jump into their van. The stars then suggested they follow them in their car to a place they can continue their discussion, but the van then drove off. Waseem Iqbal took to Facebook, posting: “This is what happens when the #EDL and #BritianFirst goons bump into an #ExtremelyBritishMuslim.

“After totally destroying them on facts about terrorism one of them said ‘it’s the guy from channel 4, get in the van’.

Tommy Robinson promptly replied, “Did I look like I ran away? I was reporting for @TheRebelTV you will see the video when it’s released.”
