Man, 21, charged with murder

THE mother of two Bradford children who died following a house fire has lost her life.

Iram Shah, 30, survived the blaze which swept through her home on Hendford Drive, Pollard Park, Bradford on July 6.

The fire claimed the lives of her two children Alina Shah, 10 and eight-year-old Aman.

Ms Shah was rushed to hospital where West Yorkshire Police said her condition was improving.

But detectives confirmed she died on Monday evening at Pinderfields Hospital.

 A 21-year-old man has been charged with the murders of the two children. Another man, aged 18, has been bailed.

Asjid Mahmood, of Pollard Lane, Undercliffe, Bradford, appeared before city magistrates on Saturday.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Bradford Crown Court on Tuesday.

Detectives are still appealing for information on the fire and have urged anyone with information to contact them.
