Salma Kabal is eighth person to be charged in terrorism investigation

A 22-year-old woman from Birmingham has been charged with failing to disclose information, under the Terrorism Act 2000.

Salma Kabal was originally arrested on 19 September as part of the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit’s Operation Pitsford.

Seven men have already been charged in connection to this investigation.

Ms Kabal will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on 16 November.

She is accused of failing to disclose information for an offence involving the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism between 29 July 2011 and the 19 September 2011.
