Pupils at Priory School Edgbaston have enjoyed delivering festive gifts to the life-limited residents at Acorn’s Children’s Hospice in Birmingham. Thanks to a generous donation from CKGHomes, Priory School’s Preparatory School children were able to spread a little kindness to children and young people in the local community.

This charitable act follows a whole term of kind deeds selflessly conducted by the pupils of Priory School Edgbaston, a co-educational independent school for children aged six months to eighteen years. Sixth Form students have been collecting donations for the homeless and vulnerable in Birmingham City Centre in addition to sending a cargo of shoeboxes filled with toys, treats and toiletries to underprivileged children all across the world. Children have raised money for Children in Need, hosted a coffee morning for McMillan and worn odd socks for the Anti-Bullying Alliance. The school choir have entertained local senior living residents with a plethora of Christmas Carols and pupils engaged in a range of activities to raise funds for the Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.

Headmaster, Jonathan Cramb, praised the tireless work of Priory pupils: “it is wonderful to see the Priory family committed to making a difference to the lives of others locally, nationally and globally. We are proud to support the work of these worthwhile charities.”
