Last year saw the annual M&W Charity Ball take place at the Vox Conference Centre with an attendance of over 700 people in support of the UK Sepsis Trust. The ball raised £74,534.52 for the charity.

We are excited to announce that this year’s spectacular Maharaja Gardens Ball is again a sold out event. The Ball is raising funds principally in support of the UK Sepsis Trust for a second year and this year, also MIND Birmingham. The UK Sepsis Trust said “We are humbled by the continued support and generosity of the M&W Group who work tirelessly to create such outstanding events year on year. It’s a real privilege to be their selected charity for the ball for the second year running and we’d like to say a huge thank you from all at the UK Sepsis Trust for the opportunity. The funds raised by the ball and its supporters will be pivotal in continuing the fight against sepsis and saving thousands of lives all over the UK.”

M&W is a partnership between the Mahan and Wouhra families hosting charity events across the UK.

The Mahan and Wouhra families are well established in the business community and have a long history of supporting charitable causes.

The dedication to assisting worthwhile causes is a tradition that was started by Tony Wouhra MBE, the late TS Wouhra, Chairman of East End Foods plc and their good friend, the late Dr Raj Mahan.

This long standing history of philanthropy has passed from father to son and has been taken over by the next generation, Ajay & Anil Mahan and Monty, Paul & Roger Wouhra.

It is important to both the Mahan and Wouhra family members that they continue the tradition of commitment to improving the welfare of others and partnering with charities doing excellent work.

Sponsors of this year’s M&W Ball include SME Global; Nathaniel Dupruis; The Intelligent Strategic Partnership; Porsche; Hyatt Regency Birmingham; Mars Wrigley; Kuflink and Mondelēz.

The M&W Charity Ball 2019 is already in the planning stages with more information available on the M&W website after this year’s ball.

We look forward to seeing you all on the evening of Saturday 3RD November 2018 at The Vox Conference Centre to enjoy the ‘Maharaja Gardens’ event; an evening filled with vibrant entertainment, fine Indian cuisine and charity auctions in lavish Rajasthan-inspired surroundings.
