A family man from Handsworth was stabbed to death in a Dudley flat in the early hours of Saturday 6 January.

Jaskaran Kang 24 years old was known to be a caring and hard-working father.

The police have launched a murder investigation after they were called to a flat above a mini-mart in Dudley and the young dad was pounced as dead at the scene.

The family, from Handsworth, Birmingham, are appealing for people to come forward.

In a statement released by West Midlands Police, they said: “We just want justice.”

They added: “He was a lovely and caring hard-working father, son and brother who has been taken too soon.

“Everyone loved him and the family and community are in shock.”
