AMIR Khan is ready for his toughest challenge to date when takes on five-time world champion Zab Judah.<\/strong> <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The two go head-to-head in a unification fight on July 23rd at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, with the fight screened live on HBO in the US and Primetime PPV in the UK.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Speaking at their LA press conference Khan is adamant that he has the tools to stop Judah, a fighter who has been in with some of the very best, including Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cZab\u2019s a tricky southpaw who\u2019s won many world titles but I don\u2019t think this is his time. \u00a0He doesn\u2019t have the hunger that I do. \u00a0I don\u2019t think he can take the belt I have off of me,\u201d said Khan.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a game plan for the fight, so I know how to beat Judah and I\u2019m already way ahead of schedule.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is going to be a big fight in the U.S., but it\u2019s also big for my fans in the U.K. and I\u2019m happy for them to come over,\u201d added the WBA light-welterweight champion.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

IBF light-welterweight world champion \u2018Super\u2019 Judah is convinced, however,\u00a0that he has the experience and know-how to beat boxing\u2019s brightest young talent.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Despite having won multiple world titles at 140 and 147 pounds he is eager to take the crown away from the reigning \u2018King\u2019 of the light-welterweight division.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve beat a guy from Mexico, from Argentina, from Africa and now I will beat a guy from the United Kingdom \u2013 just call me the international assassin.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m ready and focused. \u00a0It was a long road back to the top, but this is what a champion is made of. \u00a0When they\u2019re knocked down, they rise back up to the top,\u201d Judah said.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cAmir\u2019s an assassin with speed and power, but I\u2019ve been where he\u2019s been and he\u2019s going to have to do it in the lights. Amir can deal with a loss right now.\u00a0 It\u2019s \u2018Super\u2019 Judah time,\u201d he insisted.<\/div>\n

Interest in the fight has been huge with Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer tipping Khan to become the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world but warning he faces the hardest fight of his career.<\/div>\n

\u201cThere has been tremendous interest in this fight. \u00a0The casino just ordered an additional block of tickets. HBO has been criticized plenty, but they haven\u2019t been given enough credit for the great string of fights they\u2019ve put on lately,\u201d said Schaefer.<\/div>\n

\u201cBoth guys are going to come at their best. \u00a0That\u2019s the story line here. \u00a0This really is do or die.<\/div>\n

\u201cWe know Zab is a real champion and I believe this is the most dangerous fight for Amir thus far, but this is what Amir wants. \u00a0He has set his goals and he wants to be a unified champion. \u00a0He knows this is a dangerous fight but you don\u2019t become the best without challenging champions,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n
