{"id":9693,"date":"2009-03-20T15:54:18","date_gmt":"2009-03-20T15:54:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2009\/03\/20\/football-racism-body-in-cash-boost\/"},"modified":"2009-03-20T15:54:18","modified_gmt":"2009-03-20T15:54:18","slug":"football-racism-body-in-cash-boost","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2009\/03\/20\/football-racism-body-in-cash-boost\/","title":{"rendered":"Football racism body in cash boost"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>Kick it Out receives \u00a3110,000 backing from Football Foundation<\/h3>\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"218\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"232\" align=\"right\" vspace=\"3\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/Image\/ArticleImages\/KickitOut_232x180.jpg\"\/>ANTI-RACISM body Kick it Out has been awarded a cash boost\u00a0from the Football Foundation.<\/strong> <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>The organisation, which works to combat racism in football, was presented with a cheque for \u00a3110,000 by former footballers Paul Elliott and Garth Crooks. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>A further \u00a375,000 will be given to Kick it Out to help fledgling teams develop closer links with mainstream football. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Kick It Out is offering a number of separate grants of up to \u00a32,000 each to grassroots and amateur football clubs across the country to start their own project which seeks to achieve this.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Paul Thorogood, Chief Executive of the Football Foundation, said: \u201cSince its inception the Football Foundation\u2019s key goal has been to increase opportunities for everyone to be able to play our national game if they want to.
