{"id":9609,"date":"2008-07-15T11:45:11","date_gmt":"2008-07-15T11:45:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2008\/07\/15\/pcb-tell-asif-youre-on-your-own\/"},"modified":"2008-07-15T11:45:11","modified_gmt":"2008-07-15T11:45:11","slug":"pcb-tell-asif-youre-on-your-own","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2008\/07\/15\/pcb-tell-asif-youre-on-your-own\/","title":{"rendered":"PCB tell Asif: \u2018You\u2019re on your Own\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>Board will not provide help to bowler<\/h3>\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"277\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"180\" align=\"right\" vspace=\"3\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/Image\/ArticleImages\/MohammedAsif_180x232.jpg\"\/>THE PAKISTAN Cricket Board has told Mohammed Asif he will not have their support as he fights yet another drugs scandal.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>It was revealed yesterday the 25-year-old failed a random drugs test during the Indian Premier League.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>It comes just weeks after Asif was released from a Dubai detention facility after allegedly being caught in possession of a banned substance as he made his way back to Pakistan from the IPL tournament. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>The PCB assisted the player during his detention and managed to secure his release after 19 days. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>But the PCB\u2019s chief operating officer Shafqat Naghmi said this time Asif would have fight to clear his name on his own. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Speaking to Pakistan\u2019s <em>The News<\/em> he said: &#8220;Our policy on dope offenders is very clear.
