The biggest names turned out for the Brit Asia Music Awards at the NIA Birmingham on Saturday 4th<\/sup> October 2014. Although the award ceremony celebrated new talent and honoured rising stars, this year\u2019s ceremony very much belonged to established names who have been powering Asian music for the past two decades.<\/font><\/div>\n

The Legends Band opened the event with a performance with Saini Surinder and Jay Status for a night of outstanding music and entertainment.<\/font><\/div>\n

Hosted by Radio WM Presenters Sunny & Shay and Brit Asia TV host Sukhi Bart, who encouraged going \u201coff the leash\u201d and whipping up some spontaneous fun, which involved some light hearted fun with <\/font>TOWIE\u2019s Jasmin Walia who made a entrance with a glittering backless silver dress.<\/font><\/div>\n

The combined UK and India star wattage of Apache Indian, Saini Surinder, Jay Status, Nafees, Manj Musik and Lehmber Hussain Puri added a lustre to the live performances which had the audience on their feet. <\/font><\/div>\n

Most notably, Apache Indian\u2019s win for Lifetime Achievement Award cemented his achievement in the industry.<\/font><\/div>\n
