But you\u2019ll be surprised to learn Priyanka Chopra and Lady Gaga do have something in common \u2013 and his name is Troy Carter.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Head of artist management company, Atom Factory, Carter will help launch Chopra\u2019s singing career \u2013 and he\u2019s got plenty of experience having managed Lady Gaga\u2019s meteoric rise to pop stardom. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Priyanka has been signed by Universal Music Group (UMG) and Desi Hits! She is the first major signing for the Desi Hits label whose chief executive Anjula Acharia-Bath flew to India last summer with UMG UK chief executive David Joseph to scout Chopra.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n&#8220;It has been a long cherished dream which is finally coming true&#8221;, said Chopra about her music debut. &#8220;I am truly excited to have an opportunity to present my musical dimension on a world platform. I am privileged to be a part of the Universal Music &#8211; Desi Hits family and to be working with some of the most illustrious names in the music industry.
