{"id":8818,"date":"2010-04-13T17:32:34","date_gmt":"2010-04-13T17:32:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2010\/04\/13\/leicester-square-desi-fied-with-afterlife-premiere\/"},"modified":"2010-04-13T17:32:34","modified_gmt":"2010-04-13T17:32:34","slug":"leicester-square-desi-fied-with-afterlife-premiere","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2010\/04\/13\/leicester-square-desi-fied-with-afterlife-premiere\/","title":{"rendered":"Leicester Square \u2018desi-fied\u2019 with \u2018Afterlife\u2019 Premiere"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>Stars grace the red carpet as film nears release<\/h3>\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" hspace=\"10\" vspace=\"3\" align=\"right\" width=\"232\" height=\"318\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/Image\/ArticleImages\/ItsAWonderfulAfterlifeLondonPrem_232x280.jpg\"\/>THE STARS of supernatural comedy \u2018It\u2019s A Wonderful Afterlife\u2019 took to the red carpet last night for the London premiere of the film.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Director Gurinder Chadha looked stunning in a floor-length red dress at the Leicester Square premiere last night. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>She was joined by stars of the film Sendhil Ramamurthy, better known for his role in the hit US drama Heroes, newcomer Goldy Notay, British actor Jimi Mistry and BAFTA-nominated Sanjeev Bhaskar. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>The actors basked in a party atmosphere with dhol players and Asian dancers featured in the film leading an entertaining procession along the red carpet.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Speaking at the red carpet, director Chadha said: \u201cPeople always ask me to do another Bend it Like Beckham, I would say It\u2019s a Wonderful Afterlife is like its naughtier cousin!\u201d<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Leading actress Goldy Notay, who wowed the crowd with her stunning figure added; \u201cThis was a great film to be a part of, even though I had to put on a lot of weight to play my character! We had a fantastic time making the film and that really shows on screen. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cThis is a film about love, comedy, and ultimately it\u2019s a fun film.
