The former face of Cancer Research has said she is drawing up plans for the \u2018perfect funeral\u2019 after she confirmed the disease had returned. <\/div>\n

Seema Jaya Sharma has been sorting out a DJ, a playlist and checking off her to-do list in preparation of her final send off. <\/div>\n

\u201cMy hair is going to look just right and I\u2019ve got my outfit ready,\u201d she says.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve sorted the DJ, the playlist, I\u2019ve got the caterers checked and booked, the video to thank everyone for coming… everything\u2019s sorted. I\u2019ve planned plenty of parties but this one\u2019s a bit different.<\/div>\n

\u201cBecause this is one is my funeral.\u201d <\/div>\n

38-year-old Seema is a mother of two and was once the national face of Cancer Research. She amazed doctors when she went on to beat the disease three times. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

However, she was given the dreaded news a couple of weeks ago when doctors confirmed the condition was back and nothing could be done to cure it this time. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

She has prepared her children Kalvin, 17, and Shanti, eight, for her death and wants people to remember her as a fighter and not a victim. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cThe doctor said let\u2019s do a CT scan, and there it was, \u2018Tumours in the brain, sorry, we can\u2019t do anything.\u2019 I was upset for my mum at first, and my kids. But there\u2019s no point dwelling on it.\u201d<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the moment I have fluid all around my lungs and my heart and the cancer is in the lungs, the liver and all over my bones.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cBut what\u2019s killing me most is the seven tumours in my brain. Because it\u2019s in the brain, they don\u2019t know when it could hit. Or the lungs could collapse or the heart could give up. It could be anything at any time. I could be gone when you\u2019re reading this. But, you know, I\u2019m all right with it.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cRadiotherapy would give me maybe another few weeks, but for the side-effects. I don\u2019t want that. I don\u2019t want to lose my hair now \u2013 I just got my fade done right!\u201d<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are all going to die one day. I don\u2019t see why it should be perceived as such a negative. I\u2019ve suffered a lot and now I\u2019m ready to be free. It\u2019s not a bad thing. It\u2019s the next thing in the cycle.<\/div>\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited to see what happens next, rather than sitting here in pain. Soon I won\u2019t be able to do much. So what\u2019s the point in hanging around?<\/div>\n

\u201cPeople talk for years about \u2018I lost my mum to cancer\u2019 and it consumes them, puts them in a rut. I can\u2019t have that.<\/div>\n
