{"id":8180,"date":"2015-03-05T11:43:57","date_gmt":"2015-03-05T11:43:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2015\/03\/05\/palestinian-terrorism-apology\/"},"modified":"2015-03-05T11:43:57","modified_gmt":"2015-03-05T11:43:57","slug":"palestinian-terrorism-apology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2015\/03\/05\/palestinian-terrorism-apology\/","title":{"rendered":"Palestinian Terrorism Apology"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>School Under Fire for \u201cDemonising\u201d Homework  <\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"1\" hspace=\"3\" alt=\"\" vspace=\"10\" align=\"middle\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/Image\/ArticleImages\/Palestine-Apology-458x191.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>A school in Scotland has come under pressure after it handed pupils homework sheets which labelled Palestinians as &#8220;terrorists&#8221;.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>New Stevenston Primary School, apologised after the sheets clearly stated &#8220;Palestinians feel they have the RIGHT to use terrorism against the Israelis.&#8221;<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>North Lanarkshire Council, which produced the worksheet, said \u201cit would ensure that it would no longer be used.\u201d<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Dr Essam Hijjawi, chair of the Association of Palestinian Communities in Scotland, said, said the council had tried to demonise them. &#8220;The &#8216;Separatists&#8217; case study given to children as homework demonstrates a fundamentally flawed reading of history and geography.
