Wishful Smiles Collaborate With SANAM<\/h3>\n

Popular band \u2018Sanam\u2019 have joined hands with Wishful Smiles, a UK based charity to support their mission to spread smiles across the globe as their official ambassadors in India.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

SANAM’ is an Indian Pop Band based in Mumbai. The group consists of Sanam Puri (lead vocals), Samar Puri (lead Guitar and vocals), Venky S (Bass Guitar and vocals) and Keshav Dhanraj (Drums). Lead singer Sanam <\/span><\/span>Puri recorded his first\u00a0<\/span>Bollywood<\/a>\u00a0song “Dhat Teri Ki” alongside\u00a0<\/span>Aditi Singh Sharma<\/a>\u00a0for the\u00a0<\/span>Imran Khan<\/a>\u2013Kareena Kapoor Khan<\/span>\u00a0starrer\u00a0<\/span><\/a>Gori Tere Pyaar Mein<\/a>, composed by the duo\u00a0<\/span>Vishal\u2013Shekhar<\/a>\u00a0and penned by\u00a0<\/span>Kumaar<\/span>.\u00a0His collaboration with Vishal\u2013Shekhar was followed by “Ishq Bulaava” from\u00a0<\/span><\/a>Hasee Toh Phasee<\/span>. <\/a><\/div>\n

Wishful Smiles is currently focussing on supporting underprivileged and deprived communities in India. They have raised awareness and funds to support grass root communities in India that suffer from sexual violence, acid attacks and human trafficking. This joint effort by Sanam and Wishful Smiles to spread smiles in India and globally shows the essence of music and charity collaborating as one for a good cause.\u00a0<\/div>\n

The band Sanam expressed \u2018As a band, our collective goal was always to spread love, peace and make everyone smile using Music as our instrument. When we heard about wishful smiles and all the wonderful things they do to help the less fortunate fill their lives with happiness, we were fully inclined towards supporting their cause, which is essentially our cause and everyone else’s cause! “Together we can make the world smile, wishfully!”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This collaboration not only brings music and charity together but brings India and the UK together.
