Fury as Father’s Bid to Bring Home Wife and Four-Year-Old Son is Blocked<\/h3>\n

\nA Birmingham man \t\t\twhose bid to bring his wife and young son to England was blocked \t\t\tby the government has likened the ban to \u201cchild abuse\u201d.<\/p>\n


\nMohammed Fiaz, from \t\t\tKings Heath, who was originally permitted by an immigration judge \t\t\tto call his young family from Pakistan, has launched a three-year \t\t\tcampaign to bring his wife and four-year-old son to Birmingham \t\t\tafter the decision was successfully appealed against by the Home \t\t\tOffice.<\/p>\n


\nThe warehouse worker \t\t\thas appealed at Birmingham’s Upper Tribunal Immigration and Asylum \t\t\tChamber to have the ban lifted.<\/p>\n


\nFiaz, who divorced \t\t\this first wife with whom he had five children in 2010, remarried \t\t\tin the same year to his second wife. A year later, his son was \t\t\tborn.<\/p>\n


\nMr Neville Smart, \t\t\trepresenting the Home Office, has suggested that confusion arose \t\t\tregarding Fiaz’s domestic situation which a previous judge had \t\t\truled in his favour.<\/p>\n


\nDeputy Judge John \t\t\tMcCarthy has said that a decision would be made at a later date \t\t\tafter further evidence was considered.<\/p>\n


\nFiaz, who has said \t\t\the is unable to take up permanent employment as he has to care for \t\t\this five children following the divorce, said after the hearing: \t\t\t\u201cI have not seen my wife and our son for 15 months.<\/p>\n


\n\u201cThe block on my \t\t\tson joining his brothers and sisters in Kings Heath is like some \t\t\tkind of child abuse.<\/p>\n
