Help Police Identify Kings Heath Armed Robber<\/h3>\n

\nPolice have \t\t\t\treleased CCTV footage of an armed robber threatening a female \t\t\t\tcashier in Birmingham, in the hope that a member of the public \t\t\t\twill come forward to help identify the offender. <\/p>\n

As part of the \t\t\t\tattempted robbery, which took place at Eurochange in Kings Heath \t\t\t\tHigh Street around 5.20pm on Saturday 28 February, the man walked \t\t\t\tup to the cashier and aimed a black handgun at her before \t\t\t\tdemanding money.<\/p>\n

The offender, \t\t\t\tdescribed as an Asian male, is believed to have gotten cold feet \t\t\t\tand proceeded to run out of the shop empty handed.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The man, estimated \t\t\t\tto be in his early twenties, is around 5ft 7in to 5ft 8in tall, \t\t\t\tof slim build, fairly light skinned, clean shaven, with dark \t\t\t\tbrown eyes, wearing a hoodie with the hood up.<\/p>\n

PC Kate \t\t\t\tWatts from, Kings Heath Police Station, said: “The CCTV \t\t\t\tcaptured clear images of the offender and I am confident someone \t\t\t\twill be able to recognise him. <\/p>\n

“I would ask anyone who knows the \t\t\t\tidentity of this man to call police on 101 or call Crimestoppers, \t\t\t\tanonymously, on 0800 555 111.”<\/p>\n
