{"id":7245,"date":"2015-01-30T15:50:51","date_gmt":"2015-01-30T15:50:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2015\/01\/30\/visit-my-mosque\/"},"modified":"2016-01-07T14:18:59","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T14:18:59","slug":"visit-my-mosque","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2015\/01\/30\/visit-my-mosque\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit My Mosque"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>British Muslim Centres of Worship Open Doors to Public<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"1\" hspace=\"3\" vspace=\"10\" align=\"middle\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Visit-My-Mosque-458x191.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>On <strong>Sunday 1st February 2015<\/strong>, the Muslim Council of Britain will be organising a national #VisitMyMosque day, where British mosques will open their doors to the general public. <br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nMosques will be sharing tea and refreshments alongside an insight into the day-to-day goings on of a busy Muslim centre of worship. <br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nMembers of the community are there to get to know one another better and some may be on hand to answer questions about Muslims and Islam where this is possible.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>&#13;<br \/>\nLocal mosques will also be inviting inter-faith leaders as well, and all will be invited to come together to demonstrate unity and solidarity during what has been a tense time for faith communities.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nParticipating mosques will be listed at <a title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.mcb.org.uk\/visitmymosque\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mcb.org.uk\/visitmymosque\"><font title=\"blocked::http:\/\/www.mcb.org.uk\/visitmymosque\" color=\"#0000ff\">www.mcb.org.uk\/visitmymosque<\/font><\/a><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div\/>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>#VisitMyMosque day is part of a national initiative by Muslims to reach out to fellow Britons following tensions around terrorism.
