Man Arrested <\/h3>\n

A teenager has been arrested after three people \u2013 including two children \u2013 were stabbed in what\u2019s believed to be a domestic incident at a Birmingham home.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Police were called to an address in Little Green Lane, Small Heath, at 7.20am this morning by a resident who reported hearing screams.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Officers arrived at the scene within a matter of minutes and arrested a 17-year-old in the street and recovered a knife nearby; he has been taken to hospital having suffered a minor cut to his hand.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A woman in her 40s and a teenage girl \u2013 believed to be aged 16 \u2013 were found inside a house with knife injuries whilst a younger girl, thought to be 10, was found on the pavement with stab injuries.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A baby was discovered unharmed inside the address and is currently being cared for by family members.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police Force Incident Manager, Chief Inspector Jack Hadley, said: \u201cAll three casualties have suffered multiple knife wounds but the seriousness of their injuries is unclear at this stage.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cThis appears to be a contained, domestic incident: one man was arrested outside the address and we are not actively seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Police have cordoned off Little Green Lane to allow forensic scene examiners to scour the location and clear space for the air ambulance to land.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Wyndcliffe Primary school \u2013 adjacent to the house in Little Green Lane \u2013 has been closed for the day.<\/p>\n
