Police Appeal to Find Attacker<\/h3>\n

Detectives are appealing for help to find a man wanted in connection with a violent attack on a woman outside a frozen food store in Coventry.<\/span>

The 27-year-old had been shopping in Farmfoods on Riley Square in Wood End when she was approached by the offender at around 6:20pm on 31 January. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

He dragged the woman to the ground before kicking her repeatedly in the body and head leaving her with cuts and bruises.<\/span>

A security guard was able to intervene and the offender, described as an Asian man, around 20-years-old, with short black hair and an all-black tracksuit, ran away.<\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

DC Richard Walker, from Force CID in Coventry, said: \u201cThe victim was simply doing her shopping when she was subjected to this viscous, unprovoked attack.<\/span>

\u201cThe person responsible is clearly dangerous; we need to find him and ensure he\u2019s brought to justice.<\/span>

\u201cIf you recognise the man in the CCTV images or have any information which could assist our investigation, please get in touch.”<\/span>
