{"id":6277,"date":"2013-12-19T10:25:32","date_gmt":"2013-12-19T10:25:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2013\/12\/19\/do-you-recognise-these-men\/"},"modified":"2016-01-07T13:42:21","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T13:42:21","slug":"do-you-recognise-these-men","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2013\/12\/19\/do-you-recognise-these-men\/","title":{"rendered":"Do you recognise these men?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>Items worth \u00a3450 were stolen from a Boots store <\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"1\" hspace=\"3\" alt=\"\" vspace=\"10\" align=\"middle\" width=\"460\" height=\"225\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/boots-robbery-460x225.jpg\"\/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>British Transport Police (BTP) officers are appealing for information after items worth \u00a3450 were stolen from the Boots store at Birmingham New Street rail station.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Investigators have today released CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place on Saturday, 16 November.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Investigating officer, PC Brian Mandefield, said: \u201cAt 3.25pm two men were seen to walk into the Boots store at Birmingham New Street, where one of them selected a large amount of skincare products.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cBoth men then left the shop without making any attempt to pay for the items, which were worth around \u00a3450.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cHaving carried out a number of enquiries, we have identified two people we believe may have key information in relation to the theft.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cThe first man we would like to trace is of dark European, or possibly Asian, complexion, in his mid to late 20s, around 5ft 4in and of medium build. He was wearing a bright blue coat, black jeans and white trainers, and was carrying a red CEX bag.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cThe second is described as Asian, in his mid to late 20s, around 5ft 4in, medium build and was wearing a black Adidas jacket with a large blue bag.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cI would now like to appeal to members of the public to come forward and help us identify these people, who we believe can assist us with this investigation.\u201d<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Anyone with information should contact <strong>British Transport Police<\/strong> on <strong>0800 40 50 40<\/strong> quoting background reference <strong>WBA\/B8<\/strong><strong> of 18\/12\/2013<\/strong>.
