{"id":6181,"date":"2013-12-04T11:34:44","date_gmt":"2013-12-04T11:34:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2013\/12\/04\/youth-council-celebrates\/"},"modified":"2013-12-04T11:34:44","modified_gmt":"2013-12-04T11:34:44","slug":"youth-council-celebrates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2013\/12\/04\/youth-council-celebrates\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Council Celebrates"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>Award Was Presented at the House of Commons <\/h3>\n<div>&#13;<\/p>\n<div><font size=\"3\">&#13;<\/p>\n<div><font size=\"3\">Young people from Wolverhampton\u2019s Youth Council are celebrating after being presented with national awards at a House of Commons parliamentary reception.<\/font><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div><font size=\"3\">City teenagers Rashae Johnson aged 17, Summaya Shaikh 16, Miranda Roberts 16, Emma Curran 14 &amp; Elizabeth Williams 12 all received the national \u2018Youth Voice Award\u2019, which recognises the work that young people undertake as representatives within their local communities.<\/font><font size=\"3\">\u00a0<\/font><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div><font size=\"3\">In order to win the award, the young people had to put together a log book demonstrating the work they do as youth representatives.
