Bollywood couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot on Thursday 14 April.<\/p>\n
Amongst close family and friends, many stars attended the intimate event, held at the couple’s Mumbai home.<\/p>\n
Their names are trending on Twitter and social media is brimming with good wishes for them.<\/p>\n
The wedding was confirmed by Kapoor’s mother Neetu Singh on Wednesday at the henna ceremony.<\/p>\n
“Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home… in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last five years of our relationship – we got married,” Bhatt posted on social media.<\/p>\n
Speaking to media personnel outside Vastu hours after Ranbir and Alia’s wedding, Neetu said, “It’s done, it’s all done,” before adding, “Now you all go and sleep peacefully.”<\/p>\n
Kapoor and Bhatt’s first film together – Brahmastra – will release in theatres later this year.<\/p>\n
