The charity provides access to education, health care and livelihood opportunities that lift people and communities out of poverty in South Asia and the UK.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cWe are very proud of our 33 Ambassadors\u2014well-known British Asian celebrities, sports persons and leaders\u2014who represent our work and help raise awareness about the projects we support,\u201d said Manoj Badale, Chairman of The British Asian Trust. \u201cThey play a vital role in promoting the Trust.\u201d<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u2018Daybreak\u2019 presenter Tasmin Lucia Khan said: \u201cI believe in helping people realise their full potential through education and skills training. I am passionate about breaking down the barriers that prevent many children, especially girls, getting an education to lift themselves out of poverty.
