Derby dad left with crushed skull in unprovoked attack<\/h3>\n
\"\"POLICE in the West Midlands are on the hunt for three men who brutally attacked a Derby father, leaving him with shocking head injuries.<\/strong> <\/div>\n

Raghvir Singh, 37, was set upon by three men at Dudley Port railway station in the West Midlands on 30 May in an apparent motiveless attack. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The Derby father suffered horrific head injuries which have left him unable to return to work. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Now five months after the brutal assault British Transport Police are re-appealing for the public\u2019s help to identify Raghvir\u2019s attackers.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Raghvir, who was visiting family in the West Midlands on the day of the attack, took a short cut through the car park at Dudley Port rail station with his cousin when he was approached by two men on 30 May. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The two men began talking to Raghvir before a third man approached and brutally attacked Raghvir, punching him several times to the ribs and head, causing him to fall to the floor. He was left with serious head injuries and underwent three weeks of treatment in hospital.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Today, five months on from the attack, Raghvir is still undergoing treatment including speech therapy.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

His wife, Baljit Kaur, said the attack had completely changed the family\u2019s life.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cBefore the attack, he was a happy man who loved playing with our 17-month-old son and was always laughing and joking,\u201d she said.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cOur whole life has changed. He can\u2019t speak too much as he gets very bad headaches and I have to do everything for him. He can\u2019t work so we have no income and we are struggling financially as a result.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t know the men who did this and we don\u2019t know why they attacked Raghvir. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cI am asking anyone who knows them to please contact the police as they need to be caught and dealt with by the police.\u201d<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\"\"Despite extensive inquiries detectives have been unable to track down Raghvir\u2019s attackers. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Detective Constable Martyn Guest described the attack as \u201cextremely nasty\u201d, adding it had \u201cleft a whole family completely devastated.\u201d<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cRaghvir did not know these men and nothing was taken from him during the attack.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cI would appeal to the public to look at the injuries caused to Raghvir and think about how this has changed his life, his wife\u2019s life and their 17-month-old child\u2019s life.<\/div>\n
