{"id":4892,"date":"2010-10-08T16:02:29","date_gmt":"2010-10-08T16:02:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2010\/10\/08\/tv-star-turns-to-leicester-couple-for-her-big-day\/"},"modified":"2016-01-07T12:47:02","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T12:47:02","slug":"tv-star-turns-to-leicester-couple-for-her-big-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2010\/10\/08\/tv-star-turns-to-leicester-couple-for-her-big-day\/","title":{"rendered":"TV star turns to Leicester couple for her big day"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>Priya Kaur-Jones hires Ketan &amp; Harsha Jethwa to make wedding dress of her dreams<\/h3>\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" vspace=\"3\" align=\"middle\" width=\"460\" height=\"213\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/PriyaKaurJonesTailoringUK_460x180.jpg\"\/><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div><strong\/><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div><strong>FORMER GMTV star Priya Kaur-Jones has turned to a Leicester couple to help prepare her for a wedding to remember!<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Husband and wife team Ketan and Harsha Jethwa have been commissioned to make the former presenters wedding dress for her forthcoming nuptials to New Zealand diplomat, James Munro.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>The couple\u2019s company, Jessica Farringdon Brides, is the bridalwear arm of their tailoring firm Tailoring UK \u2013 and Priya Kaur-Jones is just one of a number of celebrities to specify the brand since its launch just three months ago.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cI chose Jessica Farringdon Brides, as I&#8217;d heard about their outstanding work through a friend of mine for whom they make suits,\u201d Priya said. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cI immediately felt that they understood my ideas and were excited about making them a reality. Obviously I can&#8217;t say exactly what I&#8217;m going for&#8230; but it&#8217;s long and off white! It\u2019s very sleek, sophisticated and beautiful!\u201d<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nIn order to fit the dress perfectly, Harsha will be visiting Priya in Cairo, where she lives, and also catching up with her when she\u2019s back in the UK. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe dress will take three months to make, with the first fitting in December, when Priya is back in the Midlands.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nPriya\u2019s husband to be James is a Kiwi, working as a diplomat for the New Zealand Government. They have been in Egypt for two years, and they\u2019re heading to Saudi Arabia for another two-year post at the end of January.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThey met on a beach in Egypt, when Priya came on a recovery holiday after the London Marathon! They chose Goa for the wedding as it\u2019s equidistant between their families. <br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nPriya\u2019s mum is Indian, and the wedding will have some traditional Indian ceremonies, mixed in with some New Zealand and British traditions.
