{"id":4779,"date":"2010-07-08T11:17:02","date_gmt":"2010-07-08T11:17:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2010\/07\/08\/murder-suspect-arrested-in-edinburgh\/"},"modified":"2016-01-07T12:44:40","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T12:44:40","slug":"murder-suspect-arrested-in-edinburgh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2010\/07\/08\/murder-suspect-arrested-in-edinburgh\/","title":{"rendered":"Murder suspect arrested in Edinburgh"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>Naeem Majid Butt to be charged with murder of Saheel Ahmed, police say<\/h3>\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" hspace=\"10\" alt=\"\" vspace=\"3\" align=\"right\" width=\"180\" height=\"268\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/SaheelAhmed_180x232.jpg\"\/>A MAN wanted in connection with the murder of a 24 year old man in Lancashire has been arrested in Scotland.<\/strong> <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Naeem Majid Butt, 37, from Blackburn, was arrested in Edinburgh on Wednesday evening.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Police said he will be brought back to Lancashire where he will be charged with the murder of Saheel Ahmed. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>An investigation was launched after Mr Ahmed&#8217;s body was found in an alley at the top of Warrington Street, Blackburn around 1.50am on Tuesday 22 June, after police were called to a report of a disturbance. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>A post mortem revealed the cause of death to be multiple injuries.
