{"id":3958,"date":"2009-08-05T12:44:58","date_gmt":"2009-08-05T12:44:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2009\/08\/05\/graffiti-artist-to-take-murals-abroad\/"},"modified":"2016-01-07T11:38:29","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T11:38:29","slug":"graffiti-artist-to-take-murals-abroad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2009\/08\/05\/graffiti-artist-to-take-murals-abroad\/","title":{"rendered":"Graffiti artist to take murals abroad"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>Muslim Hands commission Mohammed Ali for global project<\/h3>\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" hspace=\"10\" alt=\"\" vspace=\"3\" align=\"right\" width=\"232\" height=\"180\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/ArabicMural_232x154.jpg\"\/>MUSLIM Hands has commissioned a Birmingham graffiti artist to paint his unique, thought-provoking murals in cities across the globe.<\/strong> <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Award-winning artist Mohammed Ali, better known through his work Aerosol Arabic, has spent the best part of his adult life creating a modern form of Islamic art through graffiti. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Earlier this year he painted a number of murals across Birmingham supporting the Palestinian cause. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Now Muslim Hands is offering individuals the chance to have an Aerosol Arabic mural painted on their walls. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Speaking to The Asian Today, Mohammed said: \u201cBy working with Muslim Hands, I hope to present people with alternative messages to think about.\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cI like to put it as, me creating my own billboards.\u00a0We see the latest products, aftershaves, cars, designer labels and lots of other things we don&#8217;t need, in our faces on billboards.
