{"id":3718,"date":"2009-02-20T17:35:09","date_gmt":"2009-02-20T17:35:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2009\/02\/20\/shooting-victim-ordered-to-handover-320000\/"},"modified":"2016-01-07T11:33:00","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T11:33:00","slug":"shooting-victim-ordered-to-handover-320000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2009\/02\/20\/shooting-victim-ordered-to-handover-320000\/","title":{"rendered":"Shooting victim ordered to handover \u00a3320,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>Jailed drug dealer told \u2018face sentence increase if money is not repaid\u2019<\/h3>\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"270\" alt=\"\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"180\" align=\"right\" vspace=\"3\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/MohammedJanghirBashir_180x232.jpg\"\/>A 36-year-old man, who was injured in a drive by shooting, has today been ordered to pay \u00a3320,000 at a Proceeds of Crime hearing at Manchester Crown Court Crown Square.<\/strong> <br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nMohammed Jahangir Bashir was jailed for nine years in May 2008 after police found heroin and cocaine in the car he was driving when he was shot. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>In court today he was ordered to pay the money within six months or face an increase of three years on his sentence. <br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nBashir, of Boundary Park Road, Chadderton, was driving a hired Vauxhall Vectra when he was shot in the arm on 5 January 2007.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>He was taken to hospital and his car was seized for examination.
