{"id":3410,"date":"2008-09-12T14:45:26","date_gmt":"2008-09-12T14:45:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2008\/09\/12\/anniversary-appeal-over-birmingham-assault\/"},"modified":"2016-01-07T11:12:20","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T11:12:20","slug":"anniversary-appeal-over-birmingham-assault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2008\/09\/12\/anniversary-appeal-over-birmingham-assault\/","title":{"rendered":"Anniversary appeal over Birmingham assault"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\"><b>Victim assaulted on canal towpath<\/b><\/p>\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"263\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"180\" align=\"right\" vspace=\"3\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/Towpathassaultman_180x232.jpg\"\/>POLICE in Birmingham are making a new appeal for information about a serious sexual assault that occurred in the city a year ago.<\/strong> <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>One year on, an e-fit of the offender has been issued to try and jog people\u2019s memories on the anniversary of the incident which occurred on the canal towpath near Anderton Road, Sparkhill on Sunday 16 September 2007.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe offender approached a lone 22-year-old woman who was walking along the towpath and assaulted her. <br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nHe is described as Asian, 15-20 years old, of chubby build and average height, with short black hair and some adolescent facial hair.
