{"id":3328,"date":"2008-07-14T14:47:53","date_gmt":"2008-07-14T14:47:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2008\/07\/14\/our-pain-will-never-go-away\/"},"modified":"2016-01-07T11:10:01","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T11:10:01","slug":"our-pain-will-never-go-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2008\/07\/14\/our-pain-will-never-go-away\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Our pain will never go away\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\"><b>Families of nursing home victims speak out<\/b><\/p>\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"279\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"180\" align=\"right\" vspace=\"3\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/Leicesternursinghomemurder_180x232.jpg\"\/>THE FAMILIES of two women murdered in their beds at a Leicester nursing home last November have spoken about their pain.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Rashmi Badiani, 56, and Radhaben Chauhan, 72, were attacked and killed as they slept in their room at the Hayes Park Nursing Home, Leicester last November.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Today 20-year-old Nathan Mann pleaded guilty of murder at Nottingham Crown Court. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Dilip Popat, the brother-in-law of Rashmi Badiani said killer Mann had \u201ctaken the smile away from our faces.\u201d<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>He said: &#8220;We have lost a dear and loved member of our family and that pain will never go away.\u00a0 Rashmi was always ready to help others and never hurt anybody.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>&#8220;He took away the right to life of two vulnerable women and for that we would like to see him never having the joy of a normal life. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>&#8220;This individual has taken the smile from our faces and made our lives a misery.\u201d<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0Vinjay Solanki, the son-in-law of Radhaben Chauhan said he could never forgive his mother-in-law\u2019s killer. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>&#8220;My mother-in-law was a strong-willed lady who had devoted her life to helping others.\u00a0 She was recovering from a stroke and looking forward to her grandson&#8217;s wedding.\u00a0 Mum was loved by all her family and always had a smile on her face.\u00a0 She will always be missed and remembered by us.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>&#8220;Mann took away from us one very precious person who can never be replaced, we will never forgive him and he must pay for his crime.\u201d<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Both families also thanked police and their family liaison officers.\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div><strong>Related Article:<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/article.aspx?articleId=977\">Man pleads guilty to Leicester nursing home murder<\/a><\/div>\n<p>&#13;\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Families of nursing home victims speak out THE FAMILIES of two women murdered in their beds at a Leicester nursing home last November have spoken about their pain. &#13; Rashmi Badiani, 56, and Radhaben Chauhan, 72, were attacked and killed as they slept in their room at the Hayes Park Nursing Home, Leicester last November.
