{"id":3319,"date":"2008-06-25T17:57:58","date_gmt":"2008-06-25T17:57:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2008\/06\/25\/life-sentence-for-killer-husband\/"},"modified":"2016-01-07T11:09:50","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T11:09:50","slug":"life-sentence-for-killer-husband","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2008\/06\/25\/life-sentence-for-killer-husband\/","title":{"rendered":"Life sentence for killer husband"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\"><b>We can never forgive him, says Nisha\u2019s brother<\/b><\/p>\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"225\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"232\" align=\"right\" vspace=\"3\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/NishaFadiNasri_232x180.jpg\"\/>THE husband of special constable Nisha Patel-Nasri was told jailed for life for his part in her murder.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Cheating Fadi Nasri had his wife killed so he could cash in on her life insurance and start a new life with his mistress.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>He will have to serve at least 20 years in prison for her murder.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Nisha, 29, was fatally stabbed outside the home she shared with Nasri in Wembley, north-London, in May 2006. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Jason Jones, who stabbed Nisha with a 13-inch kitchen knife, was also given a life sentence and told he would have to serve at least 20 years.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Another man, Rodger Leslie who hired Jones to kill Nisha was told he would have to serve at least 18 years after being handed down a life sentence. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>In an impact statement read out to the court today, Nisha\u2019s brother Katen Patel, described the devastating effect that the murder has had on her family.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>&#8216;This has been the most agonising experience of my life,&#8217; he said. &#8216;I wanted the defendants to hear how there brutal, savage and vicious attack has left me and everyone in my family absolutely devastated. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"210\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"235\" align=\"right\" vspace=\"3\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/NasriJonesLeslie_232x180.jpg\"\/>\u201cThere are no words I can use to describe the pain and suffering in losing my little Nisha.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>\u201cNisha was my little sister and I was supposed to look after her.
