\"\"THE BROTHER of murdered special constable Nisha Patel Nasri has said the family would never be able to forgive her killer husband.<\/strong> <\/div>\n

Fadi Nasri, 34, had Nisha killed so he could cash in on her life insurance to pay off his debts and set up home with his prostitute mistress. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Two other men – drug dealer Rodger Leslie and Jason James – were also convicted of her murder. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Speaking after the verdicts were recorded, Nisha’s brother Katen Patel said the family were horrified at Nasri’s involvement in his sister\u2019s death. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

“The fact the man she loved was responsible for this makes it all the more surreal. In the beginning, I never imagined he could be the one behind this wicked murder.’<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The ‘brutal, savage and vicious attack’ had left everyone who knew his sister devastated, Mr Patel said. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Nasri had his wife killed so he could cash in on her life insurance to pay his spiraling debts.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Michael Worsley QC, prosecuting, told the Old Bailey that Nasri and his wife had been ‘openly affectionate to each other, on the face of things’.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

But in private the marriage was crumbling. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\"\"Nisha had confided in a close friend that she was considering divorcing Nasri. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Nasri was regularly visiting prostitutes and began a ‘passionate’ affair with one of them, a Lithuanian called Laura Mockiene.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

On the night of the murder he arranged for his wife to be on her own at their home in Wembley, north London.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

She was stabbed in the groin with her own 13-inch kitchen knife and bled to death. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The blade penetrated an artery and left her spilling pools of blood across her driveway. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

In the days after her death Nasri made an emotional appeal for information.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

But following months of painstaking investigation it became clear that Nasri stood to benefit from her death and had been co-ordinating events with her killers on the night she died.<\/div>\n
