{"id":3182,"date":"2008-05-07T10:38:12","date_gmt":"2008-05-07T10:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2008\/05\/07\/thug-jailed-for-manchester-club-attack\/"},"modified":"2016-01-07T10:54:18","modified_gmt":"2016-01-07T10:54:18","slug":"thug-jailed-for-manchester-club-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2008\/05\/07\/thug-jailed-for-manchester-club-attack\/","title":{"rendered":"Thug jailed for Manchester club attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<div><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"266\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"180\" align=\"right\" vspace=\"3\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/05\/JanaidIqbaljailed180x232.jpg\"\/>A MAN who viciously attacked another man at a Manchester nightclub has been jailed for four years.<\/strong> <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>21-year-old Janaid Iqbal stamped on his victims head four times after an altercation at Manchester\u2019s Paparazzi nightclub last April. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>The attack left the victim with serious head injuries and a broken jaw. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Iqbal, of Carmoor Road in Chortlon-on-Medlock pleaded guilty at Manchester Crown Court Crown Square to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe victim had been enjoying a night out with friends at Paparazzi at the Printworks when he became involved in a fight with Iqbal at about 2.20am on Saturday 14 April 2007. <br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nA member of the door staff went over to the fight and saw the victim lying face down on the concrete floor.
