Connecting Classrooms is a global programme for schools, designed to prepare young people for life in a global society and work in a global economy. It supports teachers to develop their classroom practice in core skills \u2013 the six essential skills that young people need to prosper in the 21st Century. This will help them shape the future for themselves and generations to come. Connecting Classrooms is a partnership between the British Council and the Department for International Development.<\/p>\n

Our partner schools is Model School & College Mansehra – Khyber PakhtunKhwa, Abbottabad. After staff exchanging reciprocal visits in July and in December and the British Council impressed with our developing partnership we ended the project with a celebration event at Washwood Heath Academy, delegates included the Lord Mayor of Birmingham and a delegation group from Pakistan which included Waqas Nasir Afridi – Deputy Director, Federal Director of Education\/PSO to Federal Education Minister, Amtul Qudus – Director General, Quade Azam Academy of Education Development, Government of Punjab, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry – Secretary, Elementary and Secondary Education, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gohar Ali Khan – Director, Directorate of Curriculum and Teacher Education, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nishat Riaz – Director Education, British Council, Muhammad Ali – Head of Schools, British Council and Saadia Bashir – Asst.
