{"id":31134,"date":"2020-01-28T11:47:01","date_gmt":"2020-01-28T11:47:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/?p=31134"},"modified":"2020-01-28T11:54:12","modified_gmt":"2020-01-28T11:54:12","slug":"innovative-book-launch-on-values","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2020\/01\/28\/innovative-book-launch-on-values\/","title":{"rendered":"Innovative Book Launch on Values"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Nishkam Centre had the pleasure of hosting a launch for the revolutionary book,\u00a0<em>The Values Compass<\/em>\u00a0on the 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of January, where the author, Dr Mandeep Rai, took the audience on her journey as to how the idea began and flourished into this intuitive manuscript.<\/p>\n<p>Bhai Sahib, Bhai Mohinder Singh OBE KSG, one of Mandeep\u2019s main inspirations for writing this book, gave incredible insights into the essence and importance of values.<\/p>\n<p>Mandeep outlined her biggest supports, inspirations and how every moment could simply be a coincidence, or a pivotal point in one\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI spent a year in India as a BBC reporter\u2026I was reporting on the deep injustices\u2026 I went to pick up some rice, and I saw another hand coming to pick up the rice and I looked up and I saw Bhai Sahib Ji.
