A fundraising campaign has been set up for a Mum-of-two Kalpana Bobee Jain, who died in her sleep on Saturday, just one day before her and her family were due to travel home after four-week holiday.<\/p>\n
Close friend to the family Mohan Ramasamy, has spoken of the devastation at the sad news.<\/p>\n
A fundraising page has been set up to support Kalpana\u2019s family – her husband Bobee and their children Abi Preethi, three, and Adhya, eight – through their difficult ordeal.<\/p>\n
Mr Ramasamy said Kalpana had worked at the Bradford Royal Infirmary since 2011 and her work at the hospital was a great pleasure for her and she had recently got a promotion.<\/p>\n
He described her as a friendly, family-focused person who had a \u201chelping heart\u201d and a smile on her face.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey are a very lovely couple,\u201d Mr Ramasamy said. \u201cThey go on many holidays together and spend time with family.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s very, very shocking. There are no words to describe the feeling.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe was loved by everyone. She had a very loving nature, very supportive, like a family member for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said Kalpana\u2019s husband, a mental health nurse in Leeds, was \u201cdevastated and shocked\u201d at the news, while her two children keep asking \u201cwhere is mummy?\u201d.<\/p>\n
Mr Ramasamy said Kalpana had never had any medical issues and her friends were in shock and heartbroken at the news.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s not clear when the family will be able to come back from India.<\/p>\n
A fundraising campaign set up has already raised nearly \u00a33,000 to support her family.<\/p>\n
Tributes have been left on the page.<\/p>\n
One person wrote: \u201cWords can\u2019t express how much we miss you Kalpana …we miss you sooo much dear. May your soul RIP.\u201d<\/p>\n
While another person said: \u201cRIP Kalpana. Let us try to support the family as much as we can.\u201d<\/p>\n
