<\/a><\/p>\nA source close to the family, who did not wish to be named for safety reasons, said: “They came to the address with the weapons and was a ‘revenge’ attack on a family<\/p>\n
“Another family tried to take revenge; they came to the family address armed.<\/p>\n
“They all had weapons – crowbars, hammers, baseball bats. A man was attacked by six men and suffered a head injury. He’s in a bad way.”<\/p>\n
Three men were injured in the fight, including one being hit in the head with a baseball bat.<\/p>\n
Two others suffered minor facial injuries, having been punched, West Midlands Police previously confirmed.<\/p>\n
It has been claimed the trouble sparked in the middle of the road after one of the victims ‘intervened in another fight’.<\/p>\n
“There were kids fighting, they were as young as 14. He intervened to stop the fight and after a couple of days, they came back to take revenge,”<\/p>\n
The source continued: “Police have video evidence, photos and addresses of people with weapons, but nothing has been done, no arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
“These people are still roaming around.”<\/p>\n
The police have confirmed it has yet to make any arrests and is still urging witnesses to come forward.<\/p>\n
A previous statement from the force read: “Police were called to reports of disorder in Prestbury Road, Aston, around 5.30pm yesterday (15 August).<\/p>\n
“One man suffered a cut to his head after he is believed to have been struck by a baseball bat, while two others suffered minor facial injuries having been punched.<\/p>\n
“Officers received a further report of a stabbing at just after 9pm but officers attended and found no-one with stab injuries.<\/p>\n
