City of Wolverhampton Council reopened Tettenhall Pool today for families to enjoy over the summer.<\/p>\n
Since 1989, t<\/em>he city council has maintained Tettenhall Pool which has seen many visitors over the years and proven to be extremely popular during the six weeks\u2019 holidays. <\/em><\/p>\n As the sunshine returned this morning, young families visited the pool to enjoy a splash around for the first time this summer.<\/p>\n Earlier this year, the pool temporarily closed for required repair works which will extend the life of the pool for the next 30 years.<\/p>\n Councillor Jasbir Jaspal, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Wellbeing at City of Wolverhampton Council said: \u201cI\u2019m so pleased the pool has reopened on time for children to enjoy and keep active over the summer holidays.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s always fantastic to see families laughing and playing together at Tettenhall Pool and today has been no exception.<\/p>\n \u201cNow the pool has reopened, I\u2019m sure this free attraction will be enjoyed by many residents and visitors to Tettenhall over the upcoming weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n This year, the city council has also launched \u2018Summer Squad\u2019 an events programme for children and young people to enjoy over the summer.
