Other star guests on the night included\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Archie Panjabi, Sonali Shah, Laura Whitmore\u00a0<\/strong><strong>and Punjabi music icons\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Heera<\/strong><strong>, whose music features in the film.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Released in the UK by\u00a0<strong>Entertainment One<\/strong>, Blinded By The Light\u00a0is set in 1987, during the austere days of Thatcher\u2019s Britain. The film is a joyous, coming-of-age story about a teenager who learns to live life, understand his family and find his own voice through the words and music of Bruce Springsteen and is inspired by British journalist Sarfraz Manzoor\u2019s memoir, \u201cGreetings From Bury Park\u201d.
