They received hundreds of nominations throughout the country. The awards recognise a wide range of achievements. These include people from the worlds of business, charity, sport, arts, culture, education and medicine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The awards showcase the strength of the British Indian community, the impact they have on British culture and their progression over the last year. Categories encompass Rising Star, Young Achiever of the Year and Best in Sport among many others.<\/p>\n<p>The Awards will be held at The Birmingham Conference &amp; Events Centre at the Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre on Friday 26<sup>th<\/sup>of July in Birmingham.<\/p>\n<p>Green Sisters Ltd, Birmingham is one of the finalists in the Impact Business of the Year category. Green Sisters Ltd will find out if they will collect an accolade at the elegant ceremony held in December.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGreen Sisters are delighted to be recognised as a British Indian founded food business. Whilst we aim to enhance the lives of individuals through healthier baked products, which offer choice nutrition and trust to consumers, we also hope to act as role models to fellow young entrepreneurs from British and ethnic minority groups. Being shortlisted has created a great platform to inspire other individuals to be encouraged to follow their ambitions in business.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The British Indian Awards 2019 are organised by Oceanic Consulting \u2013 the UK\u2019s leading ethnic awards company.
